  Paul was the worst! I actually had to leave because he refused to leave me alone. He RAMBLED on and on about technical garbage from the moment I walked in the store. Let me walk you through my experience. First off, I wanted to do a sleep test for my daughter and he wouldn't let her do it. Then he wouldn't stop talking about her body, and her body is not fully developed, and that means this and that technical bulls*** about a matress, and he rambled on and on. So I say, does that mean a firm matress? And he says no, soft. So at this point he has talked for 5 minutes and now we finally get to let her actually try out a bed. So as she tries out beds he continues his incessant chatter. All a bunch of gobbledygook that no person in their right mind would ever care about regarding matresses. We work our way toward the back of the show matress section and finally I couldn't take it anymore. So I say, "Paul, listen, we are going to look at the rest of the matresses back here. If I need you, I will come get you." So for about 4 minutes we shake this guy off. But then, what do you know, here comes Paul again! He again rambles on and on but also starts trying to sell me a matress. He can get me a deal and blah, blah, blah. Hey, Paul, I haven't even had a chance to talk to my daughter about what she's thinking, maybe chill the hell out for a minute. So I try to actively ignore him, which was not at all working. I had purchased two matresses the previous week for myself and my son at the Art Van Puresleep in Howell, from a guy named Dar. Dar was a PLEASURE to work with by the way. Anyhow, I wanted my daughter to try out the same type of matress we had gotten so I was going to grab it for her to try out. But nooooo, Paul says "No, follow me!" And proceeds to walk us all the way back up to the front of the store. I would have refused, but my kids had already started following him. He had my daughter try out this year's model of the mattress I wanted her to try. No problem, although he continued to ramble the whole time. I stopped him and ask how much the last year's model would be in a full size. So he says it would be $1,000. So I tell him we had just bought the same matress in queen size for $1,000 last week. So shouldn't it be cheaper? Paul says, "No, do you know why though? Queens are the most popular size so they sell them for less." REALLY. So even though EVERY SINGLE mattress is priced more if it's larger and less if it's smaller, it just so happens that in this case, for this particular mattress, the full costs as much as the queen. There could have been a plausible explanation for the price, but it wasn't Paul's explanation, and I was so done at that point. He was talking to me like I was stupid the whole time I was there and then with the 'you know why though', screw that! So I tell my kids come here, round them up calmly and go to walk out the door. Paul says, "Have a nice day." So I turn around with the door half open and say, "You're wearing me out, Paul!". I am NEVER going back to that store. They would have to call me personally and let me know that Paul was no longer a sales person at the store. I'm not saying fire Paul, just give him a job where he never has to talk to people. He seriously should never talk to people! Like maybe in life too, omg he is exhausting! So I will be going back to Howell to get my daughter her mattress. And to anyone visiting this location I highly recommend stearing clear of Paul!
